Privacy policy
Last updated 24 October 2026. This covers TeacupTitan's apps: Teaparty and noodles, on Android and iOS.
The short version
No ads, no analytics, no tracking. Your games stay on your phone. Online features (leaderboards, playing with others) are off until you turn them on for a game, and you can delete everything you've sent at any time.
On your phone
Your progress, settings, ratings and favourites are stored only on your phone and aren't sent anywhere. Uninstalling the app removes them.
Optional online features
Leaderboards and online play are off until you switch them on for a game. When you do, the app sends:
- A screen name you choose, shown to other players. We suggest not using your real name.
- A random secret the app makes to stand for your phone. The server keeps only a one-way hash of it.
- What the game needs: your scores for leaderboards, a copy of your saved game if the game offers saving online, and the moves of a game you play with others (passed between the players and not kept).
Nothing else: no email address, phone number, contacts, location, advertising ID or device identifiers. "Delete everything online" in the app removes your screen name and everything you've sent, straight away.
Feedback
If you write feedback about a game, it stays on your phone unless you tap "Save and send". Sent notes go to our server with the game's name, your rating and words, the app version and whether it's Android or iOS, plus a random code (kept only as a hash) so you can edit or delete your own notes later.
The withdrawn-games list
About every four hours, the app asks our server for a list of games that have been withdrawn, so it can hide them. This is the only request the app makes with online features off. It sends nothing about you: no code, name or setting, just a request for the list.
Our server
Online features use our own server at play.teacuptitan.com, hosted by DigitalOcean. It doesn't record IP addresses or keep access logs. Data is backed up to DigitalOcean storage and isn't shared with or sold to anyone.
Children
The apps suit all ages and don't knowingly collect personal information from children. Online features ask only for a screen name.
